As we all know, one of the key factors to maximizing the success of any new dental practice is choosing the right location. When Dr. Imran Khan was searching for new office possibilities, he knew the growth potential that would be forthcoming from the downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, often referred to as a "city within a city". One of Dr. Khan's existing offices was already in the area, and he chose to add two more that would be in close proximity to one another. The doctor would be able to literally walk or ride his bike between these three practices.

Dr. Khan's Field Sales Consultant, Melissa De Lorenzi, cites exceptional teamwork as the driving force behind the success of the venues that were chosen. "Dr. Khan and I have had a relationship that spans a decade, and he had complete confidence in the services that Henry Schein would provide to him during these two projects," explains Melissa. "We went to view the locations together, walked through each space, and envisioned the possibilities of each clinic layout. We even measured out both of the offices while the buildings were still under various phases of construction." Today Dr. Khan is very proud of his two brand new clinics—York Street Dental and Infinity Dental. Both are stylishly decorated, each with their own unique theme and outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and technology.

Located in a condominium building that's positioned next to the Metro Convention Centre and the soon-to-be-completed Ripley's Aquarium, Infinity Dental was the first of the two offices to be completed and opened in October 2009. The office benefits from a high volume of foot traffic passing by each day, and many of the new patients are walk-ins. In addition, several condominiums and new construction projects are in progress that will add even more opportunity to the area over the next 5 years. Infinity Dental showcases an upscale "hotel lobby" theme with marble floors, Barcelona chairs, a fireplace, and Roman columns and arches with a multilevel barreled ceiling. Dr. Khan and his wife, Shanti, chose the finishes as the office was being built since there were not many off-the-shelf options that were available beforehand. For their color palette, shades of chocolate were used to complement these design elements and create a visually stunning and welcoming environment for patients. "One of my favorite parts of the office is the high, 14-foot ceilings," explains Dr. Khan. "They certainly give the clinic a spacious and grand appearance."

The modern aesthetics of Infinity Dental is not only present in the design of the facility, but is also reflected in the selection of their equipment and technology. Sirona C4+ treatment centers have been installed in each of the four operatories with mounted dual monitors. Sirona's XIOS Plus digital sensors, Orthophos XG5 digital pan, and Digital-Doc's IRIS intraoral cameras integrate seamlessly into this technology suite to provide highquality images that Dr. Khan uses during his consultations. "I've always liked the clean lines and engineering that has gone into the Sirona treatment centers," explains Dr. Khan. "All of the equipment we have further emphasizes the level of dental care our patients will receive."

Dr. Khan's second office, York Street Dental, is located on the ground floor of the busy TELUS Building, which is adjacent to the iconic Air Canada Centre–home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors.
